InterVarsity at Davidson has been working in collaboration with the Town of Davidson regarding their storytelling initiative through our Justice Walks led by three Davidson natives. This coming Saturday on March 1st the Town will unveil the historic signage for the Lakeside Park neighborhood which was established as a model for national legislation. The signs will have a QR code where those who walk by can scan and learn more about the stories, experiences and contributions that make up the Lakeside Park neighborhood.

We will incorporate the unveiling ceremony as part of our Justice Walk this Saturday. We start at Davidson College, up Depot St to Griffith and will visit the locations of each Lakeside Park historic sign while engaging in history, storytelling, contributions of African Americans and community.
