In these troubling times, four churches in Cornelius are making a statement about peaceful co-existence and fellowship through worship and music. Oriented to music because of language differences, there will be a fellowship meal afterwards with food from all four cultures, according to Rev. David Judge, pastor of First Baptist. “This was planned a few weeks ago, but with the racially motivated shooting in upstate NY events like this are a needed show of solidarity,” Judge said. Participating faith communities: First Baptist Church of Cornelius, Revive Iglesia Cristiana, NC Kachin Baptist Church and Union Bethel AME Zion will hold a four-church musical worship service.
