Unity in Community fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of life for individuals of the communities of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville.

UiC empowers residents through engagement, education, advocacy, and collaboration—building community where everyone feels seen, valued, and heard.
How UiC Is Structured
Unity Groups, which are central to our very basic and informal structure, are supported by a Board of Directors and Action Committees.
Board of Directors
- Provides leadership and direction
- Collaborates with Unity Groups and Action Committees
- Organizes and leads Unity Sessions
Action Committees
Supporters are encouraged to participate in one of four Action Committees.
Unity Groups & Unity Sessions
Unity Groups are made up of 8-13 diverse individuals who meet monthly to build relationships. Board Members and Supporters, including Unity Groups and Action Committees, meet at Unity Sessions on a quarterly basis.
