Supreme Court Case Sparks Advocacy for Homeless Rights and Racial Equity
The Supreme Court must exercise its moral duty in rendering a decision defending homeless individuals and uphold the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits excessive bail, fines, and cruel and unusual punishments.

At the January large group meeting, UiC’s first Lenzy R. Wallace, Jr. PhD Excellence Award was given to an individual (Michelle Goglia) and an organization (Ada Jenkins Center, represented by Leslie Wilson) who exemplified Lenzy’s strength of character and dedication towards racial equity solutions.
